I am surprised I did not answer this one right away[}:)]

This top 10 is in order[}:)]

1. Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry
2. Japan and David Sylvian
3. Depeche Mode and Martin L. Gore
4. The Smiths and Morrissey
5. Steely Dan, Walter Becker, and Donald Fagen

Normally, this would be more than 10 choices because I've included solo artists outside of the band, but, fuck that! Imma gonna list some MOAR![}:)]

6. David Bowie
7. Jean-Marc Cerrone
8. Ennio Morricone
9. Madonna
10. Rush

A strictly New Wave, New Romantic, and Alterno Rock top ten looks like this:

1. Japan and David Sylvian
2. Depeche Mode and Martin L. Gore
3. The Smiths and Morrissey
4. NewOrder
5. Ultravox!, Ultravox, John Foxx, Visage, and Midge Ure
6. Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
