If you look at the old flyers it was 30 W.21st St. I used to work on that block. I think the space became a club called Spys for a while. I'm not sure what is there now. The club closed but reopened in the 90's at 29 East 29th st.

The dance club scene in 1985's "Desperately Seeking Susan" was filmed inside Danceteria.
