Totally 80's Live

I went to Dallas with the wife for her first concert to see this show. It was to be Missing Persons (who didn't show), The Knack, Howard Jones, Berlin, and Psychedelic Furs.
What a great show. I didn't buy tickets online, I thought that we would get them at the venue and try our luck. We got there and the $40 tickets were just $25 because they didn't sell as many as they planned. It was at an outdoor venue and it was beautiful out. We got our tickets, third row from the front on the left of the stage and got ready for the new wave fest to start. The Knack were great, went from Tequila into the Doors in a cover song set , and lots of their own stuff too. Howard was my wife's fav. What a show. Pounding beats and updated his sound just enough to make it still Howard's stuff and not unrecognizable. Terri Nunn and Berlin....WOW!!!!! She was sooooo hot!!!!! Fantastic voice, but didn't play like flames and did a Prince cover instead. No bra, sitting on the stage and everyone got to see her panties. Lots of happy people in the fornt rows. She went past where we were sitting three times when she went out into the crowd. The Furs were fantastic as well, all the hits and album tracks too. Lots of younger people left after Pretty In Pink though.
A great day and lot of great memories too. Couldn't have picked a better first show for my wife to go see.

Cool review. Wish this show would come to AZ. Terri Nunn is scorchingly hot.
