Sept 24 Concert @The Downtown

Postby 2Nu » Sun Sep 11, 2005 6:52 am

FYI LI NWOr's: Although I'll be <a href="http://www.unitedforpeace.org/" target="blank">out of town that weekend..</a>

The Downtown in Farmingdale will be putting on a concert 9/24 with members of Dead Men Walking, featuring Mike Peters of The Alarm, Captain Sensible of The Damned, Slim Jim Phantom of Stray Cats, and Kirk Brandon of Spear of Destiny.

Sounds like I'll be missing a good one!

Island 94.3 will be hosting the event, which means odds are Malibu Sue will no doubt be hosting the gig.

Cheers!

Just a heads up in case anyone has any future tickets to the Downtown - it's closing. Here's the link from the paper.

That's a shame... they had a number of good shows there (not that I've ever been), and I'm sure was more convneient for a lot of the Long Island contingent.

There is a rumor that these guys will now be playing Molly Bloom's in Amityville that night.
