Easily the worst shows I have been to are Elvis Costello's 28 minute show at The Sydeny Town Hall (the crowd rioted). The The at the Hordern Pavillion, I just couldn't handle the Biblebashing crap & poor muscicianship (I lasted about 25 minutes). In numbe

The Cars at Poplar Creek in 1984. One of the first concerts I ever saw, and even I knew it sucked. They phoned it in...

I also saw Depeche Mode during their Black Celebration tour in Montreal in 1986 with Book of Love opening. Book of Love was very good, Depeche Mode also excellent that time, no mike-pumping that night.

Not really a "bad" experience, but in Oct. 1986, my best friend & I went to see A-ha at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. What we didn't plan on was the HUNDREDS of screaming teeny-bopper girls who also went to the show![:p]

Sorry you had a bad experience in Illinois - The Radio City - NY version was a great concert experience.
