I heard about this too, very strange. I work retail and have accepted a few $2 bills in my day. I don't see the big deal, except there's no place in the drawer for it.

I've done it before - but with pennies - at Circuit City and Best Buy. Dump about 20 bucks' worth of pennies right on teh counter and done deal [:)] These two... "businesses" are notoriously bad when it comes to services they're supposed to provide.
