If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.

But I dont remember the name of the band.I saw the video one night half asleep in the mid 80`s and it a crazy vid. The lead singer is this asian chick wearing a Charles Manson T-shirt dancing around.
Its been driving me nuts trying to figure this one out. You guys have been great with all my requests.Again thanks so much...
I thought it was the Flying Lizards but its not, but the music is in that vain.
I dont know sometimes I think I was too high at the time and its just a dream....
I think they might be an LA band for some reason.

The Shamen did a cover of "Purple Haze" around that time. Maybe that is the version you're thinking of ? It's a bit industrial, but not too much; lots of crunchy guitar. I don't have the song on CD/mp3, tho

I have spent countless hours searching, trying to find out some info. I was watching this show on a public acess channel.The show was called International music videos. They played cool vids that where getting no airplay o

I always preferred the cure version of that songs than over the original from the 60's

I don't have an MP3, but Amazon is selling their compilation CD, which includes "Purple Haze," for like $2.50.
