Dude. Is that all 80s material or is it like everything?

I'd like to get an idea of how much stuff I have to collect to get ALL of the 80s. Im a dumb kid, so I'm excused for asking dumb questions like that.

Nah, that's CDs of all genres. New Wave is only one of my many musical interests. I'd be hard pressed to even find 1200 New Wave CDs! [:p]

When I first get into a style of music, I may buy a few single artist CDs I know, but I find that good various artists compilations are an excellent way to find out what bands I might like. Then look for those artists individually.

you could number around 2000 just with 80's compilations alone...
rhino(USA) and disky(holland) and CBS(germany) and rough trade(UK) must have 500 alone themsleves..if you are serious into getting 80's, figure around 3500-4000 discs (i have over 2200 and

I recently got a turntable.
I have a 2 foot high stack of vinyl

*pauses while people laugh*

It includes the Thought, 4 out of 5 doctors, some foriegner, Kaja/Kajagoogoo, and some other interesting things....

Great stuff...Great indeed.
