The latest rip in the never-on-CD series is Blue Zoo's LP "2 x 2" (1983) plus a bunch of singles and b-sides. There are good mp3 rips of this album on the Web (check out Fade 2 Grey), but I couldn't find any in FLAC.

What I most appreciate about this band is its stylistic diversity. Except for "Cry By Cry," my favorites are not the synthpop show tunes, but the more off-kilter ones: "John's Lost," "Open Up," "These Days," "Chameleon Waves."

I divided the files into two downloads:

p.s. Somewhere in the world there is a cowboy who is NOT smiling. My copy of this 12" has a flaw, so the beginning of this song sounds wonky. If anybody has a good flac rip of this song, please post. Otherwise, I might eventually buy another copy.

I checked the Audacity file, and it shows stereo. I looked at the flac output in Foobar, and it shows stereo. Can you tell me why you think its mono? I mean, maybe it is, and I accidentally did the USB recording in mono, but I'm not seeing it.

Hmm, that's strange. I put the files in Wavelab for a proper mastering. I recognized that the album files and some of the single files were mono. You can hear this, when you in front of the speakers. And i double checked this with my vinyl copy.
