The Unknown Beauty Of The 80's Vol. 134

Postby Rissan » Tue Nov 24, 2020 3:06 am

Due to a quite hectic working day yesterday, which I spent at work, I wasn't able to share with you the regular comp on Monday.
But here it is. Volume 134 was basically, just like its predecessor, based on a search through the New Wave items presented by a German seller on discogs.
What explains the reason why several featured tracks on both Volumes are sung in German.

Just some small facts:

Modern Jazz released two singles before changing their name to Blue Zoo.
Tom Hark of The Piranhas is a cover of a South African kwela song.
Klark Kent is better known as Stewart Copeland, the drummer of The Police.
This is the Volume with the most female vocalists.

The tracks:

01. Bond - Boy's Toys (3:17)
02. Modern Jazz - Ivory Towers (2:47)
03. Starter - Minijupe (3:21)
04. Curly Jones - The New York Song (3:18)
05. The Piranhas - Tom Hark (2:42)
06. Sharon - What A Wally (2:50)
07. Days - Teacher-Teacher (3:05)
08. The Dots - Helen In Your Headphones (2:51)
09. Sudden Sway - Sing Song (4:09)
10. Debbie Neon - The Boys Are Out Tonight (2:33)
11. The Innocent - The Only Answer (3:55)
12. Elton Motello - Pop Art (3:10)
13. Saâda Bonaire - You Could Be More As You Are (5:56)
14. End Of Data - Sahrah (5:58)
15. Bad Dream Fancy Dress - Curry Crazy (2:21)
16. Nichts - Radio (will bring me home) (2:30)
17. The Clique - Firing Line (4:20)
18. Ruby Blue - Give Us Our Flag Back (4:07)
19. Kleist - Mains Mannequins (4:05)
20. Klark Kent - Away From Home (2:56)
21. Age Of Change - Kiss (3:05)
22. Die Hornissen - Pale Blue Eyes (6:14)
