Wife and I fell in love with a song from this album... From Group: Taras Bulba ... Album: Sketches of Babel (1993)... I had to import it back then and it was at the time hard to find. It may not suit those more punk fans, as it has a definite ambient flavor/vibe (chill out)... Fans of Synth-pop (like me) might enjoy.

I liked 3 songs from it... Starting with Track 8... "With all my Love"... then track 7... "Dance of the Fisherman's Wife" ... and finally "Shayi" (Track 3)... but can listen to the whole album.

Here is Discogs entry... https://www.discogs.com/release/458749- ... s-Of-Babel

Ripped in 320kbps MP3 (and I normalize them, but you can undo that if you like). Size: 102 MB

3 Days Only...

And Merry Christmas (and thanks for the music you provide) 8)

what an unexpectedly interesting band name)))

Taras Bulba ( spelt [Bu:lba]) is the hero of the epic novel by Ukrainian-Russian author Nikolai Gogol, this novel is a vital part of the school Russian literature course. Не was a cossack, a leader of the Ukrainian liberation force against Polish invasion to Ukraine in 18 century. A most dramatic part of the book is that one of his sons fell in love with a Polish girl, and Taras killed him.

There is the US movie on that book from 1962, by the way.

I remember the movie now, Heston was in it if memory serves me. One of those epic classics with lots of horses in the movie.... Big studio production (and no CGI)... don't make them like that anymore.

Cheers gang, and Merry Christmas to you all (except the spammers).
