I was just glancing at the MFV/Obscure 80s listing on this site, and wanted to note that somewhere years ago I picked up a copy of Horizontal Brian's "Vertical" on cassettte. I managed to convert this to CD in the past year, and the conversion came out quite nicely.
Has it ever been released on CD? Is it truly 'obscure'? Great little effort, I still listen to this today.

Horizontal Brian's LP Vertical was released on Gold Mountain Records in 1983 and produced by Graham Gouldman of 10cc. I have "rediscovered" this recently and haven't been able to get it out of rotation, an overlooked "classic" IMHO:

No.

Well, we all know it. But it received poor distribution, minimal promotion, and subsequently sold next to nothing. "Practicing First Aid" and "Everybody Wants to Be American" deserved better. They're timeless. Great album artwork, too.
