SHARE NEW: Tales Of Topographic 80s Vol. 16 - Lisbon

Postby Rissan » Fri Apr 25, 2025 2:43 am

It's the last Friday of the month again and this time we visit Lisbon. And to be honest to you I just returned from Lisbon where I stayed for a nice city trip and visited family. A tradition we like to do for at least once a year.

Again only one CD, which already was a massive struggle to create, since few bands seems to create an ode to the Portugese capital and if they do/did it, it mainly in Portugese. So the last five songs are not completely in the new wave / synthpop vein and breath a more traditional vibe.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way
to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these artists and bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Up for one month.

01. Crème X-Treme - Lissabon (4:26)
02. Frodo - Noites de Lisboa (2:45)
03. The Durutti Column - Lisboa (4:10)
04. Da Vinci - Lisboa Ano 10.000 (3:30)
05. ELO 4 - Lisboa (4:01)
06. Robert Viger - Lisboa (1:38)
07. Jorge Palma - Onde estás tu, mama? (Canção de Lisboa) (4:35)
08. The Security - Lisbon Days (3:51)
09. Ikarus - Lissabon (3:23)

Hi, Mr. Rissan

As a longtime fan of your "Unknown Beauty" and other series, thanks again.

I have personally built my life around deep eighties music; having almost ten thousand records and over 20 TB of content from the underground.

Wanted to ask you if YOU were looking for anything in the form of rarer material; It's about time that someone gives back.

Kindest regards from Queens, NY, USA
Thomas
