Just saw this announced on Facebook for an autumn 2019 release by the Numero Group. That’s still a full year away unless it’s a misprint. This set will feature all of the bands six Chrysalis albums remastered from the original analog tapes, plus two extra discs full of remixes, rarities and unreleased stuff. CD, vinyl and digital formats are all planned. In the meantime in Oct. this year Heart Of Glass is being reissued as a special 12” and digital EP:

Here’s the track list:

1. Heart Of Glass (Disco Long)
2. Heart Of Glass (Scratch Track)
3. Heart Of Glass (Shep Pettibone Mix)
4. Once I Had A Love (1975)
5. Once I Had A Love (1978)
6. Heart Of Love (Disco Short)

Bit pointless announcing a release that's a year away could be dead by then

Exactly. Why advertise something a full year away. Unless there’s contract negotiations etc. involved. Isn’t Blondie’s Chrysalis/EMI stuff all part of Universal now? Haven’t heard of this Numero Group label before.

Numero Group is an excellent reissue label...they're pretty eclectic, but they did a brilliant job with the recent Husker Du Savage Young Du set. They just did an excellent Happy Rhodes compilation.

Announcing a set like this a year ahead of time is, I think, par for the course for these guys, especially for a major release like this. (They teased the Du set for about a year.) In the interim they'll probably release some stuff like the 'Heart of Glass' EP for Record Store Day and whatnot as teasers. Blondie is actually, I think, more mainstream than their usual fare, but I guarantee that anyone who's a Blondie fan will be interested in this.

Delayed now till 2022 due to vinyl manufacturing delays. Somehow I'm not surprised.
