Hello there new album delivered today , I can confirm it is a factory pressed Cd and from what I have heard so far sound great so recommend it

now roll on Hired History Plus. Cherry red has a placement on the bands A-z now but with no details yet

Disc Two is the lost and previously unreleased second album "Ark Of Embers" as the band originally intended it when it was made with producer, Hugh Jones.

This is important:
All the tracks have been sourced and re-mastered from the original production master tapes after months of searching tape archives and exhaustive listening sessions to trace the correct versions. The CD booklet features the original album cover plus extensive sleeve notes written by band members Steve Wright and David Crickmore telling the band's story from a unique perspective. There is also a foreword written by the producer of 'Ark Of Embers.

So......finally its available for pre-order.....
I havent pre-ordered anything so far on amazon.uk, so dont really know how it works.

Can I combine an order which I will assemble at a later date to coincide with shipping of this pre-order and if thats the case, can I pay combined shipping for these two orders or will they charge me separate shipping costs for each one ?

On a side note, their new album "Saved Symmetry" is really good. They haven't lost their touch.

Still have to wait another week on my issue of Saved Symmetry, since I ordered it together with Hired History at Amazon.

Had a beautiful trip down memory lane this afternoon with this double disc. First played Ark of Embers which is a beauty with all the main singles. Then Hired History and it's bonus tracks etc. My copy didn't have any problems soundwise. So glad that another hard to find 80's band is finally available on CD with all 80's releases.

Judging by the samples, Secrets sound either like a vinyl rip or poor quality tape.
Didn't buy based on the samples as it seems other than the excellent Secrets, their other songs are really barely average.
