Wang Chung’s first three albums, Huang Chung, Points On The Curve and To Live And Die In L.A. are to be released as remastered/expanded deluxe reissues in Sept./Oct. this year. The first two will be 3cd sets, while the latter a 2cd version. Our dear friend Vinny Vero is helping out with these and promises a bunch of remixes, edits, live and demo recordings plus unreleased stuff. No official track lists yet.

From what label? Don’t say “80s Wave”!

Vinny did an excellent job with the Lover Speaks and the Matt Bianco cds. It’s perhaps safe to assume that the WC cds will be good too.

After the rumours earlier this year: (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=42509), I am all in. Only because of this: ' All tracks have been sourced using the original master tapes'.

Mister Vero always delivers as I have more quality reissues from his hands.

Even though I know it's probably going to be on the Huang Chung set, I kinda wish the first Dance Hall Days remix (5:25 Dance Mix) would be on Points On The Curve, cause honestly I don't know any of the other Huang tracks and it would give me everything I need on that set.

Hopefully Mosaic will follow.

These are a "must buy" for me because all of Vinny's reissues are stellar. I just hope the single edits of "Don't Let Go" and "To Live And Die In L.A." are included.

In fact your point out has made my weekend on two counts, Moni. 12'' 80s Pop also appears to have the 1983 Extended Remix of Nik Kershaw's I Wont Let The Sun Go Down On Me, rather than the 1984 Simon Boswell Extended Remix (with the guitar break from Wouldnt It Be Good in it). I also think it's one of the earliest PWL mixes as I think it was Phil Harding on remixing duties.. What a find!!

To return to the thread, excellent news and I will be getting all of them, so thanks to VV and everyone involved.
