By the way, I thought about it and am SLIGHLY changing the rules. I'm going to weigh the last 50 of 100 votes as 2 points not one. It's just not fair that 1 song in a personal top 10 can = 5 people's votes in the latter 50 of their lists. That should make popularity a little more relevant and not put quite AS much priority on where in their list (although there is still the weights on rank). [}:)][;)]

Plus this means I'll have less tie-breaker polls to do on Friday if I have more points per song. [|)]

Can I post my songs 101 thru 200 for 1 point each? [:D]

(As if you didn't have enough file crunching to do already!)

Freewave, thank you for doing all this. I'm excited to see the results, although we probably should have a bigger sample size (i.e. more people participating) to make any meaningful results. Good idea to increase the points for numbers 51-100, to prevent the results from being so top heavy.

I'll echo manekineko & say thank you Freewave, this has been a great thread! I really love seeing what everyone has put up - we're all so different!

I'm looking forward to the results, and I think it would be very cool to see the list a permanent part of the NWO.

ha ha ha [:D] nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! [V]

Thanks guys. [|)] I will be doing a Top 100 (completely ranked with tie-breakers to give the edge to those close contests) and i think I'll easily have enough for another 100 (101-200) or 150 after that. I'm anxious to see the results and its been fun for me too. I'd be more then happy to put the results up with graphics & html for the site if wanted. [:D] I'm moving that Saturday (new house yay) so i hope I can do some of this while its slow at work (as it often is). Otherwise I might run into some delays if I don't get cable & modem set up quickly.

Ooops, FreeWave, I did just what you told me not to! [:I]

Style Council, "Ever-Changing Moods" is on my list twice so if it's not too late I need to take it out at #88 and replace with . . . hmmm, I guess Book of Love, "I Touch Roses."

I did write my own list from scratch though! [:D] Maybe you could set up a match-making service for those with the most overlap? [:D]
