You are not alone, a lot of people liked Naked Eyes. I happen to like things I shouldn't but I know enough not to admit it in public.

As for being a "favorite" band, they had like what, TWO whole songs that got any recognition? Unfortunately those two songs were so lightweight and got so overplayed that I think I'd sooner listen to Richard Marx or Wilson Phillips (gag).

The point is, Naked Eyes is way down the list of bands of the era that had impact and significance. They were a two hit wonder. Nowadays you'll likely hear them on an adult "easy listening" station sandwiched between Air Supply and Kenny Rogers.

And they should also be in the Top Ten of the "stupidest band names" list. Right next to Kajagoogoo.
