I just recently got a Greatest hits CD collection by them in the mail, and really didn't know what to expect of their music. My expectations were a little less that what I gave them credit for.But as it turned out it was a lot better.I would say they were caught between Bananarama at times, and at other times they reminded me a little of The Primitives, only with much sweeter harmonies. And also at times kind of like The Belle Stars, with alot less Soul.
How do you all feel about these women? I mean did you like their style and sound? What did you like about them and their music and their songs if you did?

I love Strawberry Switchblade! I've always wished they would have done a second album. It's really hard to compare them to any band. Their music is so interesting to me because they sound like happy love songs at the same time they are dark, sad, and melancholy. The way they look and their videos have always fascinated me too. They look gothic yet they are colorful where as other gothic bands are just black and white. Even their name, Strawberry Switchblade is somewhat contradictory. I guess when you first hear the word Strawberry, it's kind of takes you to Strawberry Shortcake or something sweet and then you hear the word Switchblade and you think of something dark and evil. Finally, I think the two singers, Rose & Jill, are beautiful girls underneath all of that scary make-up. I guess all the above made them like Strawberry Switchblade a lot. My favourite songs include: Go Away, Who Knows What Love Is, Jolene, Being Cold, and Another Day.
