I was so happy back in the early 90's to discover The Human League's "Love And Dancing" EP, as I had always thought there were no remixes made for anything from the "Dare" album. But as much as I love the EP, I was still somewhat disappointed there were no official 12" Extended versions of "Don't You Want Me" and "Love Action" that featured the vocal tracks.
In 2001 I was a club DJ and introduced Wednesday Retro Nights which became fairly popular. It was a great way to share my huge 80's collection with a crowd that had a genuine affection for it. I was inspired to take matters into my own hands and set out to do my own Extended mixes for these two classic tracks.
I used CD rips from the "Dare" album (the Cleopatra US re-issue), the "Love & Dancing" CD and the "Love Action" UK CD3 to create these mixes. Hope you like them!!
Finally someone does the right extended versions for these two songs. Outstanding job Fred. I've always wish someone would do this. Did you also do this for Open Your Heart and Seconds?
