One of the comments on Youtube described them as a combination of Black Rebel and Pj Harvey. If the rest of the album is like that ,then it's right up my alley.

Saw Bat For Lashes perform last night on David Letterman and I liked their 'new wavy' sound... Then I saw on YouTube they have done covers of Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) and A Forrest! Both are OK compaired to the original, I liked the raw sound of the show better than the studio version...



Their performance on The Late Show, which I think sounds better, more new wave-ish:
