To celebrate the 25th anniversary of it's release the band is about to re-release "It's Better To Travel" soon with b-sides and extended mixes. No date yet has been confirmed but the website says its' "soon"

Excellent... but if it's not a 2CD, I'll be disappointed as there are so many b-sides/mixes from that album, they wont do it justice on a 1CD.

I have the japanese mini lp CD from 2010 which was had great packaging and four b-sides over and about the additional 12" mixes that were already on the CD.

Would definitely need 2CDs to approach anything comprehensive...

July 2nd is the release date for the 2cd remastered version according to Amazonuk. Here's the tracklist :

disc 1

1.breakout
2.twilight world(superb superb mix)
3.after hours
4.blue mood
5.surrender
6.fooled by a smile
7.communion
8.it's not enough
9.theme from it's better to travel
10.another lost weekend (long version)
11.blue mood (12")

disc 2

1.breakout (nad mix)
2.surrender (stuff gun mix)
3.communion (inst.)
4.twilight world (gas distress mix)
5.fooled by a smile (12")
6.dirty money
7.fever
8.who's to blame
9.wake me when it's over

It's good to have all the bsides but not to thrilled about the Breakout and Surrender mixes. They're available everywhere. Haven't heard the Twilight World mix,was it a Japanese exclusive ?

I think it's just another name for the remix that was on the original cd they seem to be the same length.

An underwhelming track list. Most of the tracks were either on the original CD or the japanese Another Nonstop Sister comp except last 2 tracks on disc 2, and if Blue Mood (12") is the Dubbed Up version

60 minutes of space across two discs? Are they kidding!?

Loads of remixes missing - it's a fiasco: Details here http://bit.ly/sos_details

Interesting... following my criticism of the reissue the Swing Out Sister reissue has now got a much better track listing.

It's a much better traclkist now. I've seen people edging on to remaster and reissue Kaleidoscope World as well on their official fan forum. Who knows ?

Where exactly does the Twilight World [Gas Distress Mix] originate? It only appears to be on this reissue, the earlier Japan reissue or the Japan box set... the running time is pretty close to the 'Remix' from one of the UK 12" singles, ie. 6:09 Vs 6:13. Could it be the same mix?

Oh, and finally... the 'N.A.D. Mix' (7:01) is correct. The original CD pressing listed that, but it was actually 'A New Rockin' Version' (5:49).
