Great to hear from you and thank you for your continuing words of encouragement. Jeff, Karl and myself have been in reasonably close touch these past few months and we are determined not only to re-release The Reason but also give some other material a proper airing.
PS Jeff, Karl and myself have been skype-ing regularly in the wake of your (and others') interest. We will definitely be releasing something soon on CD. Will keep you posted. Since it's such a rare record to find and when you do, the price is too steep, I think this is going to be an awesome news for those who liked this band. I will update this topic if and when I hear from Kirk again.

If the CD doesn't pan out, let me know. I think I still have a spare copy of this avail. in Exc condition. Did he mention if the extended version of Asleep would be on the CD? |

Hey eight6, sorry for the late reply. He did not specify what songs would be on it, just said "will give some other material a proper airing". If there's no news on the CD re-issue, I would love to get that spare copy from you. cheers |

No. He did not specify the date. I will e-mail him today to see if there's one. By the way see the below link to a draft copy of the book by Kirk Austin. I think it's out on Amazon now. It's a long but very intersting read which gives you a great backgroung/history about the band as well as a sense of what was going at the time when there was no end to awesome music being created. I had asked for his permission to post it here and he welcomed the idea. He wanted to know what you think about it.
