I think there's seating for about 250, but they have a large open floor area in front of the stage (they must have taken several rows of seating out when they converted from a Chinese Kung Fu movie theatre to a music venue). They claim it can hold 700 people but I may be wrong, after all, I'm only human... |

Someone should ask if that was the movie theater in the 1980 film Out of the Blue with Dennis Hopper, filmed in Vancouver. I'm going to have to see the disc again, but it does look like the theater in that film. |

NO.........It was "DODI'S CROSSOVER MIX" of mirror man which looked enticing,his mixes are 80s style and quite decent.

The "MIRROR MAN" mix is ok,i have also done extended edits on "OPEN YOUR HEART","EMPIRE STATE HUMAN" & "MARIANNE" and i am currently looking at "ONLY AFTER DARK" but the structure of that song is going to prove extremely troublesome,in trying to create an 80s style extended edit.
If you have do have that "DODI'S CROSSOVER" mix of MM,then i would be interested in hearing the difference,IMHO his mixes are extremely good,better than mine!,its a shame he doesnt do any more mixes on the WWW

It's gone unnoticed but the Dare albums 30th anniversary was yesterday and www.the-black-hit-of-space.dk celebrated it in several ways.
First of all the Exclusive Interviews section brings "The Dare Special (In loving memory of Martin Rushent)".

It's the final mix of the celebrations as the fact that Don't You Want Me stayed at the No 1 spot in the UK Charts over the new year back in 1981/82 deserves a special mention with a cool new take on the classic.
