Anyone remember a band called Martian Dance? I saw them at the Marquee (when it was on Wardour Street). Probably 1979. I remember them as having a kind of angular sound and i really enjoyed them. But what really made a big impression was the atmosphere... they had a pretty unpleasant and violent following and in a club that small there's no getting away from it. Don't know where the band were from (i assumed london at the time) or if they ever recorded anything. Would love to find out though... can you help?
