I once read that Paul Dean, later formed the canadian crap band of Loverboy,but i believe it's totally wrong.Another guy with the same name was in Loverboy and it would be good if someone can inform about the confusion.

No chance in hell that they are one in the same...
Just like Mick Jones from the Clash is NOT the same Mick Jones from Foreigner, although he is the same Mick Jones from Big Audio Dynamite!
