Great site. And wow, I never realized they had so many singles, all with great covers. You're right, I'm only familiar with Film Star off my Left of the Dial comp and Hunted off The Indie Scene '79 comp. They're quite different sounding from eachother. Which sound did the Passions lean to more overall?

Hi Blir

The Passions were first and foremost a guitar band but in 1982 were persuaded that they needed keyboards. In retrospect this was not the case and we reckon the band hit its peak in 1980/81 with Clive Timperley on guitar, David Agar on bass and 'German Film Star'. They wrote great songs before and after but that was their best time.

I hope their music(all of it) will be released one day. I'll definitely buy it.

Fantastic news that there is now a website, something I have wanted to see for a long time - but seems to have exceeded its bandwidth quota... hopefully a temporary glitch.

Website up again now with more bandwidth. It's proving to be more popular than we envisaged. There's a new featured track and the first part of the official biog is going up soon.
