Glass Moon-Sympathetic Vibrations:

I thought these guys were great.I had no idea that they did one other album before their best album of all which was the "Sympathetic Vibrations" LP on the MCA label. The album before this one on the Radio wasn't half and near as good as this one was.Although their cover of The Hollies 60's hit "On A Carousel" was pretty good. But it wasn't until their MCA album that they went all out New Wave. The album before it was much more of an experimental album, and it just didn't do much for me.

For some reason I get the feeling that their MCA album was very Genesis influenced with the beat on the synth drums that sound so much like Phil Collins. If I had to compare their sound at that time,I would definately say that they were an 80's New Wave version of Genesis, only alot more New Wave sounding. But the drum beats and vocals sure sound like Phil Collins style.Only much better. It is a very tough album to find now.And I don't think that it was ever reissued onto CD either, which it should be.A great find if you can still find a copy.

Is there any info on the band anywhere? All I see is some band with the same name, but I don't think it is the same band.
