Does Anyone Remember These Two Bands?
Posted: Tue Mar 16, 2004 7:17 pmHardly anyone today remembers these following New Wave bands,and when I have asked I always get a reaction Who? Never heard of them before.Or I don't remember them.
The States-They did 2 albums on the Chrysalis label.The first one was really great and obscure New Wave power pop.The 2nd album was nothing like the first one.and was also much more heavier than the first album too.Actually,the 2nd one sounded more closer to hard rock then it did New Wave.The first album at least featured their single that got very minumal airplay at the time,but at least got played on the radio.The song "My Latest Girl"
And the second album was by the band Bugs Tomorrow.Who were on the Casablanca label,and that nobody ever heard of before.Does anyone know what happened to either band? Thanks.
