More "Bands Reunited" episodes on the way beginning November 8 with Scandal, 11/9 with Vixen (man, I am scared to see what THEY look like now!) and INFORMATION SOCIETY on 11/10!!!! The 11/11 show is called "Backstage Pass" which makes me think it is live performances from various reunion shows in this series.

Insoc AND Vixen? What, did they get stuck in Minneapolis?

Vixen started here as a lame novelty act, moved to LA and all got make-overs and had that one hit song.

I loves me some Insoc, but maybe that's just hometown pride.

I photographed INSOC at a club before their show. It was a portrait for a magazine, not a performance shot. It turned out pretty nice -- I'll find a copy and upload it to my site if you want to see it.

I had no idea Vixen was a local band. I thought they were strictly Californian. Either way, I'm gonna watch it tonight to see if there's any Minneapolis scoutings going on. Same with Information Society.

With this 3rd installment of Bands Reunited, loo

Vixen were huge in Europe and Japan. Share's "new" band Bubble sells more records in Japan than anywhere else and have toured there at least once. (I know this because a friend of mine is dating Bubble's former bass player).

Also not mentioned in the

I watched the INSOC reunion -- can't believe the Kurt Valaquen, the lead singer, agreed to participate, then backed out.

What an idiot.

Wow Kurt was your stereotypical jerk when he was first ambushed in his office. I could sense the Uptown Minneapolis snobbiness right there and then.

And of course he continues the vibe by standing up the other 3 band members. A first on that show.

And I NEVER would have picked the woman (Amanda) to be a junkie! Prolly the last person I would expect to be one. The other guys, well..... maybe.
