Any word on the whereabouts of these guys and Eddie Tudorpole? Has anyone heard Eddie's solo song from 1983 called "The Hayrick Song? It kind of has a "Dexy's Midnight Runners" sound in a way.Nothing like their previous work. What about their cover of "Rock N' Roll Music" which is only available on their greatest hits cd?

Excellent choice, newwavepopman! If I recall correctly, I think Eddie Tudorpole did some acting afterwards. Their debut album, "Eddie Old Bob Dick & Gary" is a classic. I remember seeing a couple of videos from that album when MTV first started, before

Eddie is still around believe me! A week or so doesn't go by without seeing him guesting on some comedy drama or murder mystery on UK TV. A few years ago he took on the job of hosting a popular teatime game show called 'The Crystal Maze' where contestan

Eddie appeared last week in a TV drama of Henry VIII, appearing as a peasant. Quite ironic really, considering he is in fact related to the great king himself!

I saw a band called Tenpole Tudor, fronted by Eddie, at the 2001 Punk Aide festival held at the 100 Club in London.

I've got Swords of a Thousand Men and Eddie Old Bob... but the only song I recognized from their set was the song "Swords of 1000 Men".

PS--

I'm glad Eddie's still around and working. Talented man. Had a real cool (if too brief) part in Straight to Hell (by the director of Repo Man, with Joe Strummer and Courtney Love and Shane MacGowan)...

come to think of it, didn't Elvis Costello

I've got a really cool picture sleeve of the "Wunderbar" single. I'd say 45, but I don't think it plays at 45rpm. Pretty faces weren't one of the band's calling cards. Duran Duran had nothing to worry about. [;)]

If you watch the film "Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets" there's a scene where Harry's hiding in a Dark Arts Shop overhearing a conversation between Malfoy's dad and the owner. Eddie Tudorpole plays the owner.

That's right! I'm not a big Potter fan but I've seen the films and I forgot about that...

I've read that the latest Harry Potter installment has Jarvis Cocker (from Pulp).

Incidentally, if anyone happens to WANT any Tenpole Tudor, just post your requests up here.

(I have a feeling I am in the minority as one of their fans...)

Big fan as well, hence the name. Yeah, I think we're in the minority.

Do you have any videos?

Cheers!
