Was wondering if anyone else remembers or was a fan of SPK, the Australian industrial/noise band. They release the following albums:
Information Overload Unit
Leichenschrei
Auto-Da-Fe
Machine Age Voodoo
From Science to Ritual
Zamia Lehmanni
Does anyone know if they are still around (in some manner or other)?

SPK....I really liked one song of theirs: "White Island", where they sampled voiceovers from nuclear bomb testing in the remote South Pacific islands. Talk about the Cold War era ! The voiceovers were instructions for the "locals" to get off the islands,

I just listed the albums I had owned, or had heard. I wasn't aware of the others. Thanx for bringing them to my attention. I would most definitely be interested in getting them!!!!

SPK are one of my favorites--on their early releases, they do avant-noise industrial better than most; later they became a credible synthpop/industrial dance band. I think the Mute CD _Auto-Da-Fe_ is a brilliant encapsulation of their sound, and _Machine

Superfecta has actually licensed the rights to Machine Age Voodoo for a CD release in the future, but much like the oft-delayed B-Movie title - we can't seem to ascertain just large the audience is - and if it will sell.

Superfecta cd's are available on Amazon.com. That should reach a big enough market? It was there I bought my Bachelor Party cd, although I got the Cabaret Voltaire when it first came out on Virgin.
