They had only one hit over here in the US ("Just Got Lucky") and were fronted by an American, Dig Wayne. Wonder what became of that group?

And that's too band, because their Like Gangbusters LP is really great. All the songs are good and well crafted.

Dig Wayne went on to star in "Five Guys Named Moe." Dave Collard joined up with Matt Johnson (THE THE)on several albums and tours. Johnny Marr of the Smiths was also in the collaboration.

By the way, the 2nd album wasn't that bad, I was living with the

I'm afraid I don't know what the lead single was... "Is This Really The First Time?" That, "One in a Million" and "Some Kind of Heart" were the only tracks I thought were okay. Even the standouts sounded like third-rate xerox copies of better songs on the

I got the best of compilation, and the liner notes say that they split up due to the pressure caused by their success and strangely says the second album was never finished.

I listened to the tracks off the second album on the CD, and while not that ba

Yes, the first album was released in US--I had it on cassette. I remember buying it in a Roecrd Town in the 8th Grade and couldn't wait to get it home to hear something different. I waited and waited and waited for the second album to be released here, bu
