You know, the guy who was the "other guitarist" in the Heartbreakers with Johnny Thunders? I know he released a CD about 10 years ago with his band the Waldos, but is he still around?

Last I heard about him was around the time of the 9/11 tragedy because he worked on Wall Street.

He was okay.

I'm not sure if he's still making music though.

Good to know Walter is still around. Working on wall street? Great to see that he's doing well, I always thought of him as a very underrated guitar player. I also just noticed that he did a guest spot on the latest Sonny Vincent CD.

I've got the Waldos cd and a 7". REALLY REALLY good rock and roll with a slight nostalgic bent to it (think how The NY Dolls did early 60's pop, The Waldos do that to 50's RnR). As of about 4 years ago it was still available.

Yeah, I found that CD at a used store for about 2 bucks a few years ago. I haven't listened to it in awhile, but I remember it being pretty cool. I'll have to dig it out when I get home tonight. Are the songs on the 7" from the CD?
