Best Depeche Mode's songs

Postby Mechi » Thu Mar 30, 2006 11:55 am

There was once a similar thread with Joy Division/New Order which was very interesting. Let's do it now with DM and try to keep it in a maximum of 10 songs so as they are the ones that you like the most:
Here's my list:
Never let me down again
Strangelove
People are people
Everything Counts
Behind The Wheel
Policy of Truth
Walking in my shoes
Enjoy the silence
Halo
Dreaming of me

This was really hard because I'm leaving out some that I really like and listen a lot.

my fave band of all time... quite a difficult task to limit it to 10... but I give it a go... (without order + changes every day of course)

Shake The Disease
Higher Love
Little 15
Sun + The Rainfall
And Then
Stories Of Old
Clean
Stripped
But Not Tonight
The Things You Said

still no room for Question Of Lust, Blasphemous Rumours, Dreaming Of Me, Lilian, Insight, Enjoy The Silence, Pipeline... I could easily go on with another 40, I bet...

Much like New Order I would say I like 95 % of their song the last 5% dislike with their current material. I like of course Material from Vince Clark the only album he worked on and When Alan Wilder was there.

Anywho

mine are
in no particular order

I sometimes wish I was dead
Shout
Shouldn't have done that
The Sun and the Rainfall
Home
Here is the House also Vertigo's Cover of the song.
The Love Thieves
Death's Door
Sea of Sin
Breathing in Fumes

I know what you mean Synthpopfan. [:)] I was hoping to see it before this weekend but I guess not. I'm sure Alex is holding back because he has to. I know he wants to reveal the contents as much as we want to see it. I think this will be one of the best RA's for sure.
