i've seen erasure live twice, been accused of being gay for listening to them, and own the balloon, tank and swan dvd (that was one of the times i saw them, albeit with my ex-wife), and have not stopped listening yet.

I've got a new list... improved due to the fact that I've really got into Erasure:
Sometimes
Stop!
Drama
Chains of love
A little respect
Who needs love like that?
Oh L' Amour
Blue Savannah
Love to hate you
A little respect

That makes it ten but I also love "Rock me gently". [:D]

I know this is going to seem strange coming from a fan of all things synth. and a huge fan of Vince Clarke....but Erasure always sounded kinda 'ahem' ...fruity to me...meaning, there wasn't a real edge to any of their stuff...yes ---pretty well written pop songs, but missing something....do your own comparison...play Yaz's "Upstairs at Erics", and then listen to Erasure...I did see them play live with Duran Duran in 1986 and they were really entertaining and "Love To Hate You" is an awesome 'newer era' Erasure song....perhaps I am missing something, but they have never occupied a solid place in my record collection or my heart.
