.... My Own Way is mine own favourite. Love the opening lines : "I saw you at the air race yesterday, April showers get out of my way". Just the mention of an air race - such a 30s pursuit - gives it a certain timeless mystique!

There seem to be a few votes for Violence Of Summer and I remember that the accompanying album Liberty got slated in the music press but there are some great tracks on there like "My Antartica", and "Venice drowning".

I really like Liberty as a whole album. It was also the time DD came to Asia to promote Liberty & i got to see the band in the flesh for the very 1st time. Of cos i didn't get to see Roger & Andy then. John actually handed me a signed Violence Of Summer poster!![:D]

I listen to Liberty more than i listen to Wedding or TQ or Medazzaland or PTrash.

Yes My Antarctica, VD, Downtown, Liberty, Violence are just brilliant!!! plus other tracks which are such fun to listen to.

You've gone too far this time...
But I'm dancing on the valentine
I tell you somebody's fooling around
With my chances on the danger line
I'll cross that bridge when I find it
Another day to make my stand, oh whoa
High time is no time for deciding
If I should find a helping hand, oh whoa
Whyyyyyeee don't you use it?
Tryyyyyeee not to bruise it
Buuuuuyyyy time don't lose it

Well, I have been listening to the MTV unplugged as I get dressed in the morning. It is always great to hear a new take on a duran song.

I recently finally found those early Duran demos with Andy Wickett from TV Eye, b/f Simon was their singer and before Andy had joined as their guitarist. So lately I've been favoring early "Girls on Film", "Working the Steel", See Me Repeat Me" (which later became "Rio"), and "Reincarnation". ahhhh...

Hey Karen, thanks for the list. hmm Ordinary World is missing tho[:)]

Before you slip into unconsciousness. I'd like to have another kiss
Another flashing chance at bliss. Another kiss, another kiss

The days are bright and filled with pain. Enclose me in your gentle rain
The time you ran was too insane. We'll meet again, we'll meet again

Oh tell me where your freedom lies. The streets are fields that never die
Deliver me from reasons why. You'd rather cry, I'd rather fly

The crystal ship is being filled. A thousand girls, a thousand thrills
A million ways to spend your time. When we get back, I'll drop a line...

Aaaah...electric b.[;)]Here's one of my fav from Medazzaland[;)]....Midnight Sun

You and I don’t always fly
Let me go I want to fall
Deep into the dark
But I’ll get back to you
And I’ll always know how to find you
Cause you shine like the midnight sun
