About half of my top ten could be gathered from the lists already posted. But I'd add a few. Although not officially 'new wave', Thank God It's Christmas by Queen is one of my all time favorite synthpop christmas songs. And I love She Won't Be Home by Erasure. Also, "We Three Kings of Orient" by Book of Love (really wish that would show up on CD someday). "Winter Wonderland" by Eurythmics. U2's cover of Baby Please Come Home is my favorite version of that song. And although it wasn't released in the 80s, I love It Doesn't Often Snow at Christmas Time by Pet Shop Boys.

Not New Wave but totally 80s are two more faves--Bryan Adams Christmas Time and Billy Squier's Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You. Those two songs totally bring me back to the early days of MTV.
