There are several different “All-Time Greatest” lists in music.
In rock music there is a “Greatest Debut Albums” list.
With Rock music it seems like it takes many artists a
few attempts to put together a decent album.

I’ve noticed in New Wave a considerable amount of artist’s
strongest and best album is their debut release.
Think about the impact these albums made as a debut and
how these are still the Artist’s best recording.

There is no party that doesn’t get instantly better than when the English beat’s debut ‘just can’t stop it’ gets put on.

And no Gang of Four ‘entertainment ‘?! Come ON!!

You are right with Gang Of Four - Entertainment!
but English Beat ‎– I Just Can't Stop It isn't as strong as Special Beat Service.
It took them a couple of records to find their own sound.
Same with Madness.

Agree with a lot of these (though Strange Advance's Worlds Away should definitely be on here).

Flock of Seagulls - prefer Listen to the debut honestly. Nothing on it is as good as Space Age Love Song, but the filler is of a higher quality, so its a more well-rounded album.
Men Without Hates - Haven't listened to the full 3rd album, but a lot of people do say it's their best.

"I’ve noticed in New Wave a considerable amount of artist’s

How about:

Pet Shop Boys - Please (Not Their best album)
The Sisters Of Mercy - First And Last And Always (Floodland is a way better album)
The Bluebells - Sisters (Not their debut album- Their debut was a Mini-album)
Communards - Communards (Red is the better release)
Gazebo - Gazebo (I added this)
The Outfield - Play Deep (I added this)
Erasure - Wonderland (Though it is their debut, it's not their best album)

All a matter of opinion but what Pet Shop Boy album do you think is better than "Please"? IMO "Actually" comes close but I still have to give it to "Please". Great first album.. West End Girls peaked at #6 on billboard dance charts on 3.6.2021 and Opportunies peaked at #1 on the dance charts on 2.27.2021. Came out in 1986.. Amazing..

"Two Divided by Zero" – 3:32
"West End Girls" – 4:41
"Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)" – 3:43
"Love Comes Quickly" – 4:18
"Suburbia" – 5:07
"Opportunities (reprise)" – 0:34
"Tonight Is Forever" – 4:30
"Violence" – 4:27
"I Want a Lover" – 4:04
"Later Tonight" – 2:44
"Why Don't We Live Together?" – 4:44

It's really not a matter of opinion.

Behaviour & Actually are better albums and ranked higher than Please overall by almost everyone.

New Wave’s Greatest Debut Albums

There are lots of people on the list that are not in any way "New Wave", however you want to twist this already wide definition. Rick Astley? Climie Fisher? Lightning seeds? Outfield? T'Pau? BALTIMORA FFS?!! And yet - no Visage, for example? No Gary Numan? No Spandau Ballet? "Reproduction" by The Human League wasn't a great debut? And so on.

The list's a joke, and a very poor one.
