My old stand-bys are pretty mainstream I"m afraid, but I like to dig deep into their respective catalogs. In order as of today:

1) Joy Division
2) New Order
3) The Jam
4) Echo & the Bunneymen
5) The Plimsouls
6) The Smiths
7) 20/20
8) The Cure
9) The Chameleons
10) B-Movie, Gang of Four & Split Enz (tied)

PS. If this were to include current new wave-ish bands, I'd probably put British Sea Power about 5th. The more I listen to the Decline of..., Open Season, and Spirit of St Louis CDs, the more I'm completely smitten by these guys! NYC and Boston concerts coming up next week!!!

You know, I maybe should substitute Wire for Dirty Looks. Then again, can't forget Gang Of Four, the Weirdos, Devo, Bowie, the Stranglers,... Can we make this a top 100?
