ANYTHING AT ALL by Bananarama

Sorry but I never understood the appeal of three girls who sound like they are looking at the lyrics for the first time as they sing, as bland as it gets.

Now if you wanna SERIOUSLY talk about burning the master tape of a particular artist, here's one:<a href="http://launch.yahoo.com/vid-2148935--Push-Th-Little-Daisies" target="blank">Push Th' Little Daisies'</a> By Ween

I absolutely love Ween now, but this was the first song I ever heard by them and I've always hated it.

I hated that song so much that I have never been able to listen to Ween again. As soon as I see or hear their name I immediately tune out.

That's too bad. I really think that you would LOVE "Monique The Freak". It is a seriously funky song.

OK - I give in, yes it is a seriously funky song - sounds like something straight from 1978. Can't believe that's Ween! I like it - I don't want to....but I have to![:D]

They really are amazing talents and can do every style of music imaginable. That's why "Daisies" pisses me off so much [:D]. Check this one out - they think they're Thin Lizzy or something:

Another Slam Dunk Motors![8D]
Admittingly, this is pretty fun getting a totally different take on an misconstrued artist's music. Thanx for sharing! [;)]

OKAY, Class...CLASS..class, let's try to get back to the topic!

Now how many of you can list 10 songs, from the 80's, that you are sick of hearing or you think should never have been recorded....okay go ahead.

You in the back...you had your hand up?

I think the first four post just about have it nailed. I get so depressed whenever I pick up a compilation and any (or all) of those crappy songs are on there (with the exception of maybe one or two songs).

I'm with you there. Whenever I see a new compilation album my first thought is, "Gee I wonder if I Ran or Walkin On Sunshine is going to be on it?" Not that they're all horrible songs but you'd think there were only 12 songs recorded during that period.

I agree with the inclusion of "Wild Boys" by Duran. I'm a big fan, particularly of their 1st 3 albums, but this song is HORRIBLE. Bombastic and overblown. Same goes for "View to a Kill". Argh!
