Lollapalooza Cancelled

So the not so wisely planned 2-day Lollapalooza show with Morrissey, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, Pixies, etc. is officially cancelled. Maybe that's cuz when you do a lineup that appeals to people over 25 or 30, and you make it over 2 days when those people typically have JOBS and some even have kids they need to get someone to care for, that's a bad combo?

Not sure what Perry was thinking. Put that show into 1 day, cut off a lot of the superfluous up-and-coming bands who you know will be gone tomorrow, and then maybe you have a show that will work for those bands' target audiences. But 2 days. It was doomed from the start.
