Yep, way back in February of this year, my girl and I were in London to visit a friend, and, lo and behold, who happened to be playing in town but SOFT CELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marc Almond is my favorite singer/songwriter in the world. Period. Needless to say, we jumped on that opportunity. The concert was magnificent. All the old songs were played, as well as some pretty good new ones. The old stuff sounded EXACTLY right, as it was performed by David Ball the right way, with the old instruments. Amazing. Incredible. I can die now.
