Even though it was last year (2003), it was the most bizarre scene I've ever seen at a concert (9:30 Club, DC). You had 40-something parents who grew up with SP and then you had the young teenage and 20-something punks. Very few ages in between. I made the mistake of spilling a beer on a fellow patron just before the concert. He was a bit miffed, but my reply was, "it ain't a Sex Pistols concert unless you've had beer splashed all over ya!"

I was at the last Pistols show in Tempe AZ and they kicked ASS!! I too am 40, well actually 39. I was amazed at how many younger people were booing Glen Matlock because he was not Sid. Just idiots having no idea that Glen was the original bass player who

No one was a bigger Pistols fan than me. It got to the point in the late 80's where record store owners were asking me to price Pistols records that came in.

I saw the Cleveland show in '96 (and again 3 days later in Milwaukee), the Cleveland show Lyd

I obsessed over the Pistols glory years, listening to and reading about everything I could get my hands on.

I had no interest whatsoever in seeing the recent shows. It was obvious it wouldn't be the same as it might've been seeing them in some of th
