I got tickets for the show in Mesa, AZ, really looking forward to it... my wife loves them more than just about any band so she's ecstatic about seeing them again.

The documentary loudQUIETloud: a film about The Pixies was great... if you haven't seen it, it's on Hulu:

The special features were great. Loved the part about David's metal detecting hobby and their meet-up with Sigur Ros in Iceland.

I looked up their set list for the tour, looks like they are playing close to 30 songs depending on the night... the only song not on the set list that I want to hear is Letter to Memphis, but just about everything else is, so it should be an awesome show.

And yes, the documentary is great, interesting how insecure Kim Deal is, you kind of wonder if it's all an act, but she's fantastic.

I saw them in 2004, but am kicking myself now for not seeing the Doolittle tour when it came thru Boston, especially after watching that film last night.

Hey, thanks for that documentary link, it was brilliant. I haven't listened to the Pixies in roughly 20 years, but this film (which is beautifully shot) really made me smile.
