Duran Duran

Just wondering if anyone is going, or has gone to the Duran reunion tour. I know they are coming to Los Angeles in February and I would like to go.

If anyone has seen any shows of this tour, please let me know how it went!

They will not be coming thru my city on this upcoming tour, but they DID last year, on their small-venue "78-03" tour, and it was AWESOME. They have a lot of chemistry, they look like they're having fun together, they SOUND even better together musically,

I remember that tour! ACK! I didn't get to go! Oh well. My friend told me that it was really good. I haven't purchased their new CD yet, but I plan to. I have no clue what they sound like other than that song Sunrise, which is not bad, but not outstanding

Saw them on their reunion tour warmup in the Chicago House of Blues, which is the perfect venue. Awesome show. Was probably 10 feet from the stage.

This time through they're playing the Allstate Arena, which is massive. $85 each for tickets a mile

Yes I am going to the Chicago show in March. Duran Duran was the first concert I went to when I was 13. I am going to bring my 13 year old daughter to this concert which will be her first. When I told her we are going she asked "who is Duran Duran and why

"Ritlin children"

The drug Ritalin?? Got news for ya. They were shoving that crap down the throats of children as early as the mid-70's.

My very first concert was Duran Duran back in '88. Passaic, NJ I think. And at a time that I was not quite back

"Well, then they'd be old enough to get into bars, wouldn't they?"

Ja, old enough to be about a decade or so beyond the legal drinking age. >:D

Ahh, s'ok U.R. I will admit that I too noticed a drastic rise in the usage of the drug in the mid-80's into the 90's.

Hey universal,
I saw my first Duran Duran concert in Seattle sometime in Febuary. Were you there? Those were good times!
