Remember these guys?
At a time when anything remotely new wave-esque (Smashing Pumpkins' "1979" anyone?) was guaranteed some attention from diehards, this Chicago-area duo never got their due despite a clever record that lovingly referenced everything new wave from its lyric matter to the sound. Terrific stuff, and I can't believe the hip stars of today haven't beaten a path to David Trumfio's door in the wake of so many new wave love letters in recent years.
