The Cars tour dates:
These seem like small venues to me. I don't think one date at the House of Blues will cut it.

May 10: Showbox SoDo, Seattle, WA
May 12: Palladium, Los Angeles, CA
May 13: Fox Theater, Oakland, CA
May 15: The Fillmore, Denver, CO
May 17: First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN
May 18: Riviera Theatre, Chicago, IL
May 20: Sound Academy, Toronto, ON
May 23: 9:30 Club, Washington, D.C.
May 25: Roseland Ballroom, New York, NY
May 26: House of Blues, Boston, MA

I'd love to be at that Boston show.

I hate to downsell The Cars, but I hope they move the Toronto gig to a smaller club. Sound Academy is horrible. I routinely pass on shows there, although I'm committed to Cut Copy later this week.

Never seen The Cars, but a reportedly stolid live band playing a mid-sized, shoebox-shaped venue might prove a pretty boring visual for the back half of the room.

Still, glad they're fully into it. I just wish, of course, Ben were along for the drive.
