Free Blondie Concert-NYC

Postby schwenko » Wed Mar 31, 2004 12:42 am

J & R (Manhattan music/elcetronics/computer conglomerate indie) is sponsoring a free Blondie concert on April 6 in City hall Park (across the street from J & R Music World) at 5:30 PM. I suppose it is to coincide with the USA release of The Curse of Blondie".

Hmmm Do I have time to go see Blondie AND get to Joe's Pub in time for a good seat for Akiko Yano? Oh, the perils of living in NYC!

Is this a full concert? I may have to skip work & go if that's the case.

[:I]
I just returned from the concert. Wow!
They played NINE songs, and sounded great. Deborah Harry had a new, short harstyle, at least 3 different colors, and was looking mitey fine for 58 years old.
