This is The Blueflowers first time playing outside of Michigan.

Friday, August 12
@ The Parkside Lounge
317 E. Houston
NYC (L.E.S.)
8:00 pm
$5.00

Saturday, August 13
@ Architekt Music
One Boonton Ave.
Butler, NJ (40 minutes west of the Geo. Wash. Bridge and Tunnel Crossings)
Doors 6:00 PM
Showtime around 7:00 to be safe!!
$10.00

Great nights of music! Both bands have that twangy, westerny-alt-country sound, but incorporating that dark Americana sound. The Lost Patrol are more ethereal and otherwordly akin to Cocteau Twins and Siouxsie, whereas The Blueflowers are more rootsy like a cross between Del Shannon and Tarnation/Camera Obscura. Both have fantastic female singers who could hold their own with some of the best.
